We will arrive to Curacao at 7 a.m. and we ordered the island tour with Irie Tours. They start at 10 a.m. Can you recommend a good beach close to the port for this gap? Thank you in advance.

Closest beaches are Pirate Bay and Mambo beach. 7-10 min cab ride.

We have yet to book a excursion for this port. Would like to see the floating bridge & floating market with the shops/vendor and would love to see a pretty beach.

Curious as to how far the walk is to the beach and if one is near the floating market/bridge from where Carnival Conquest would dock.

Also is there any charge just to walk out on the beach and take a few photo's. Will be going October 1, 2016.

Thanks in advance for any information and suggestions. :)

I don't believe that there is a beach within walking distance of either docking area in Willemstad. Larger ships usually dock outside of a mall area, requiring a moderate walk to the floating bridge and downtown, where the floating market is, among other sights (and shopping/restaurants). You will find vendors along the way as well. It's easy to find island tours (bus/van) for a reasonable price in town, or pick up a taxi to a beach. The one we have gone to, Mambo Beach, has a small fee per person to enter the beach area.
