daytime temperatures Pacific October/November

Can anyone tell me what the average daytime temperatures are in the Pacific between US and NZ? I'd like to know what to pack.

If you do an Internet search for a weather service like accuweather.com, and put in a couple of your ports, you will get the idea that through the tropics, like Hawaii, Tahiti, places like that, it will be warm to almost hot. Cooler as you leave the west coast and approach New Zealand.

Pack layers. Cool clothes for the tropics but NZ can be cool any time of year, especially at the bottom of the South Island. If you are cruising around NZ make sure you have a good rain jacket (with hood) and some warmer layers.

You could get up to 90-100F in the tropics and as low as 50F in NZ.

Not if the ship goes around the bottom of the South Island of New Zealand!

Thanks, but we're only going as far as Auckland. It's the sea days I'd like to know about before that - I know what the weather's like in NZ in November
