Mine is Cape Town South Africa. I know other cruise lines go to Cape Town, but I would love it if Celebrity did.

Appreciate and agree on that it would be nice if Celebrity did some of the options in and around Cape Town, South Africa, etc. We are looking to do this potential in early 2016.

Silversea and a limited number of other lines provide a few of these options. My guess is that the challenge for a larger line Celebrity would be the time and "logistics" for getting there and back. Some of the potential port stops in western Africa are not exactly the best given the recent health challenges, plus parts of eastern Africa and the middle east near Somalia have key safety questions.

Great idea and dream. BUT, how would Celebrity make it work with their larger ships?

THANKS! Enjoy! Terry in Ohio

Enjoyed a 14-day Celebrity Solstice, Jan. 20-Feb. 3, 2014, Sydney to Auckland adventure, getting a big sampling for the wonders of "down under” before and after this cruise. Go to:

Alaska, Antarctica (can you tell I like the cold) and Cuba

I would love any of those three (I also love the cold), and I'd throw in Belize. :D I've always wanted to visit but the only Celebrity itineraries that seem to stop there are at terrible times of the year for us and on trips that are longer than we can currently get off of work.
