In light of the changing world, I'm interested in what security measures are taken by Crystal to prevent non-authorized persons from boarding a ship or boat. I think this is especially important for river cruises (we are on one in July). With boats docking side-by-side and people walking across it has been, at least in the past, easy to go into another boat and look around. Will there be measures in place to prevent that, such as a card entry system?

Dear Harpy3,

The safety and security of our guests, crew, and ships is our highest priority at all times. As a matter of routine, we monitor the activities in all of our ports of call. I can’t stress enough of how seriously we take security at Crystal, and to reveal our security measures would compromise their effect and purpose.
