Bus Passes with Credit Cards?

Can anyone tell me if you can purchase bus passes with a credit card? Will be there the week of July 15th and will be purchasing 2 day bus passes out of Hamilton to get around. I don't like carrying a lot of cash but I want to make sure I have enough if needed. Thanks so much.

Yes, you can purchase the Transportation Passes with a credit card, but there is a service charge in the 3-4% range added to the cost. Also, unless you are visiting Bermuda on the Veendam, you will dock at the Dockyard, not Hamilton.

In Hamilton they sell the transportation passes at the ferry terminal, the central bus station and at the post office. I don't recall anyone reporting that any of the Hamilton locations were taking credit cards. The only verified location I know of is at the Visitor Information Center at the Dockyard. Unless someone verifies that any of the Hamilton locations takes credit cards you better be prepared to use cash.
