We were on the 18 night cruise but we were unaffected. There were a lot of sufferers, but us and our group of friends (met on board) all escaped... Was a great cruise.

Hello,

Going back to your Christmas Indy, do you remember meeting Glasgow Guy (William) and Davenwill (David)?

The only time I felt the urge to do the murder mystery dinner it was cancelled from lack of interest.

I must look at my booking to see what's available - especially on the food front. I mourn the passing of Portofino's on the Indy and Chopps reminded me of Berni Inns.

Regards,

Cublet

I know there was a lot of cancellations for the Mystery night because of illness. The 2 guys names dont ring a bell, but will have a look at their profile see if it jogs any memorys.

Hello,

The 'blurb' on the mystery dinner still refers to Portofino's even though by then it should be Giovanni's Table.

Possibly the one good thing about P&O is the specialty curry counter.

Hello,

Well it looks like it's only five of us (so far). It's not beyond possibility that because the CC search facility has been on-and-off, some have been afraid to start a thread in case there was (this) one already. You never know, so many might turn up at the FOD meetings we'll have to swing from the rafters to get in (or does that happen afterwards?) The ice skaters on the Indy last year were good at that in the night club.

Regards,

Cublet.

if there is a FOD meeting. How do they advertise it? or do we just follow the yellow brick road?

Hello,

They are not always advertised in the Cruise Compass daily newspaper. Somewhere close to Guest Relations is the 'Community Noticeboard' - a wooden construction taking postcards similar to a newsagent's window. There you will find the FOD meetings advertised (along with requests for mobile chargers*, whist partners, Red Hat Society, Ferret Strangling). Sorry, I made the last one up. Official/regular postings are in felt pen and the cards laminated, passenger cards are written in crayon/pencil and some almost pass for comedy. If that fails, guest relations should know.

From experience, they have been held in the Champagne Bar, nightclub and VCL and all usually at 10.30pm. There is nothing to stop us organising our own time and place.

Regards,

Cublet
*PS: If you want to come back with more money than you left home with, bring a case load of mobile phone chargers and electric plug adapters and advertise!
