technical question

i am planning a november trip on the dawn out

of new york. first stop - st thomas. how many

sailing hours before we hit warm weather?

any sailing experts out there?

I'll take a wild guess. It's not that cold yet in NY in November so I say it will take aprox. 24 hrs and the weather should be warm.....

We were on the Dawn this past mid-November. It was warm by Monday morning, short sleeve/slacks weather, by the afternoon it was warm enough to change into shorts.

sammie1 - were you on the southern carribean

cruise? if so, can you tell me a

little about it. the cruise we are

looking at stops in st thomas,

barbados, grenada, tortola etc.

Sorry can't help you there. Last November the Dawn was doing the Bahamas route. But there are many others on this board who have taken the southern carribean cruise (I believe the Dawn was on that route in February). Anyway, I suggest you start another thread asking those questions.

Hopefully, we will be able to do that cruise in the future.
