Is it walkable to go from Harrahs casino to Carnival port?

We got a free room at Harrahs for our May cruise. The last time we cruised out of NOLA we stayed at the Hilton Riverside and cruised on RC. This time we are staying at Harras and cruising on Carnival. We walked last time. I understand that the Carnival pier is farther. Is it still walkable from there? (Harrahs)

There is a street car line that can take you to the port. The street car line that stops in front of the aquarium can go straight to convention center/port or turn and go to cemeteries. I suggest checking the tourism site for New Orleans and getting the street car info. It is online, I have looked it up before.

You can walk...it is a little further but doable if you don't have too much luggage. Taking the streetcar doesn't help that much...not worth it. It will basically take you 1 stop.

With a free hotel room I would spring for the 7.00 cab ride. :D
