Members Only Cocktail Party Question

I have searched everywhere for an answer to this and have come up with nothing.

On a 4 Day Pacific Coastal Cruise, is there a Members Only Cocktail Party or

Exclusive Onboard Gathering with Ship Officers.

We're on the Sun for a 7 Day Alaska Cruise from Vancouver and then on the 4 Day to San Diego right after. I've looked everywhere for that info and all that I can find is what is offered in points for booking a cruise ( how many days, book more than 9 months, etc.) and the benefits for the different levels.

Thank you in advance for any info you can provide.

cheers...the Ump...:D

From the NCL Latitudes info page . . .

Please note: Ship pin and onboard discounts are available on all sailings. All other benefits are available on sailings 5 days or longer. Welcome Gift, Chocolate-Covered Strawberries and Sparkling Wine are delivered as one per stateroom. Le Bistro benefit can be used at our Italian or Asian specialty restaurants. Restrictions apply. Latitudes Rewards internet minutes cannot be combined with other internet promotional offers.

I hope that helps in any way. :)

Sorry, I can't help you here as I never go. Way to crowded with people who are mostly there for the free booze.

Not saying you are......but many are and I'm not a fan of crowds.

I'm definitely there for the free booze. I go find a place to park myself and then consume as many of the freebies as I can for the hour or so. I should be ashamed.......NOT!

Free booze and crappy prizes! A couple of years ago the waiter had a full tray of yellow birds & manhattans & wine & all the typical free booze stuff. My sister told the waiter to leave the tray. He looks at my father who says, "You heard the lady." There were 5 of us so it was only like 2 drinks each but it was funny.

Nothing to be ashamed of at all. I'm just not fond of large crowds so I simply skip all of these. Most of the Officers I meet during the Meet and Greet and we talk throughout the cruise anyway. Free drinks I get in the Casino, which I rarely order as I'm not a big drinker, food...I get enough of that coming to my stateroom and through the rest of the ship. Freebies....they're all junk anyway! LOL But basically, it's the 'crowd thing' that I don't like.

Please do enjoy.....and feel free to drink my share as well!

Have never been on carnival but it sounds very similar. All you need is to have 1 cruise completed and on the next cruise you'll be able to attend and receive certain amenities. Here's the link to the page that has the different levels and rewards and how many cruise points you can get to reach the next level.

You get free drinks in the casino? I thought that was only on land!

Actually, the Latitudes party is not held on Sky, Epic, Breakaway or Getaway and is for all Latitudes members. The Latitudes party with Ships Officers is for Silver and above. And there usually been another party for suites only (has been on our last 3 cruises).

And the terms do specify that it is for cruises of 5 days or longer, we have not been on a shorter cruise, so don't know about that.
