Transportation from Long Beach port to LAX

We are arriving on Carnival Miracle from Hawaii Oct. 2, 2013. I have a 1:15 PM flight. What is the best way to get to LAX?

Options include a cab (readily available at the pier), which should run about $60, or a shared shuttle ($18/each) such as SuperShuttle or Prime Time, or a car hire (such as Execucar which is run by SuperShuttle) for around $85.
