We just returned from NOLA & used FTTF. Like a prrevios poster said, they have signs up & staff will guide you if needed. My DS & me went to the FTTF line & were all set to go before DH & our 3 other DSs even made it through Priority. I told him he should have just came with me since we had FTTF for both cabins. I think next time he will listen! :)

I loved it!

I used it this past summer on my cruise.

When getting up to security and beyond, the staff will direct you to the FTTF area.

It was nice walking right up to an agent to check in opposed to waiting in line. Also being one of the first ten people on board was great!

I love being able to place bags in my room and heading to a near empty Lido and enjoying lunch before it got crowded.

It was great at the end of the cruise being escorted to leave the ship. This was the earliest that I ever got off the ship in New Orleans (one of my pet peeves about sailing out of New Orleans).

We loved it in NOLA. We arrived at the port right at 10 am in a taxi, and the porter met us at the cab to get our bags. I played dumb and said pointed at our boarding pass and said "we got this, does this help you mark the bag or anything?" and he said it sure does and went and grabbed a handful of orange tags. We tipped him and he walked us to the door and told the lady at the door that we were FTTF and she let us right in and on to the escalator. Then we got up stairs and went through the VIP security line, since NOLA only has two x-rays. After security we walked toward the check in areas and said "where do we go for FTTF?" and they opened the ropes to the four check in desks to the right of the rest and got us checked in, then they told us to sit in the red chairs. Shortly after 11:45 we were on board. We used the time in the terminal to get to know some of our roll call members who also had FTTF, and do our last bit of facebooking and grabbed a few photos of the ship.

If you have Priority boarding do you still need to get FTTF?

You don't require it, but FTTF has features that Priority boarding does not.

If you are Platinum or higher, you do not need to purchase it since you get all the FTTF features and then some.

So if I read this thread thoroughly, the FTTF is good early check in, boarding early, leaving early, being able to have your luggage dropped off once you board and get it early in your stateroom, even getting access to your stateroom early and maybe lunch once you are on board...?

...Did I miss anything...If that is the case, I may purchase this

We did FTTF last year from NOLA and we were on the ship very quickly, right behind the priority boarders. WE also got off the ship ahead of everyone else the last day. We mostly liked the convenience of being able to take our carry on bags directly to our cabin when we got onboard.
