Solo and Pinnacle

I travel solo and have wanted to try the Pinnacle but wasn't sure I could. Will they take a reservation for one? Or will I take a table they could use for two?

I have many times seen solos eating in the PG. One 4 day cruise we ate there every night and so did a solo. She had her reserved table and so did we. Obviously, the staff knew her very well.

The Pinnacle does a beautiful job of making a solo diner feel comfortable. I've visited the Pinnacle for the Le Cirque dinners, also. Each time I've dined there I've been at a two-top, with only one table setting.

I've done it several times. Go ahead and enjoy :).

If you're not uncomfortable dining out alone at home, then dining alone in the Pinnacle should be a piece of cake for you. Even if you only dine alone in the Lido or dining room for breakfast or lunch, you should not feel conspicuous in the Pinnacle alone.

The table will be set for you, and you will be escorted as if you were their most important diner that evening. You will get attention, and maybe more attention than if you were with someone.

Another vote for by all means, enjoy dinner on your own in Pinnacle. They will take very lovely care of you. It is no where near an unusual circumstance.

Absolutely go to the Pinnacle on your next cruise. Be sure to make your reservation on line before your cruise to make sure you can get in.

Yes, by all means, try the Pinnacle Grill as a solo.

My suggestion as to the venue on the Vista and Signature Class vessels: indicate to the Maitre d' that you will not accept a table that is in the outer ring of the Restaurant, closest to the Atrium. I have had a table in that area on the Westerdam and the dining experience, due to the ambience, is less than "fine".
