Balcony Question Celebrity/Carnival

Hi,

I'm new to Cruise Critic. I have only been on two cruises and those were several years ago. I'm looking at Southern Caribbean cruises on Celebrity Summit or possibly Carnival Fascination. Their itineraries are very similar.

I would like to have a balcony room. Do either of these ships have covered balconies?

Thanks for your help,

Sandy

All of the balconies on the Celebrity ship are covered. On the Fascination, the lower two balcony decks will be covered by those above, but the highest deck will be open. Carnival is known for smaller balconies, particularly those that were added to the Fantasy class ships. You will have more space on a Summit balcony. Be aware that on Carnival ships, partitions can be opened batween balconies, if you are traveling with family/friends in the cabin next door. This cannot be done on the Celebrity Millennium class ships, of which Summit is one. EM
