Parking in Tampa

We are driving to Tampa the morning of cruise. Is there parking at the port in Tampa? If so how much per day? Or is there some were else to park?

not sure how long your cruise is but many hotels offer free parking and a shuttle to port.

I like to use the Valet Parking in Tampa....you drop off your car right where you drop off your luggage...and they bring it to you after the cruise & load your luggage for you....$20 more than parking at the garage across the street....but sooooo worth it IMHO!:D

That is an interesting option.

We have done off site parking about 1/4 mile away and it is pretty cheap. Just have to wait for shuttle. It was about a 5 minute wait as we called them when we got to baggage claim.

I certainly agree with Karen. We used the valet parking and it was so convenient! We couldn't have been more pleased with this service.

We live close to Tampa.. but still decided to stay at a hotel and park our car.

What I usually do before staying at hotel and leaving my car for a length or time I will call the local police dept. to see how the neighborhood and the safety.

Tampa Police told me to stay at the Rocky Point area... safer and less crime.

We end up staying at the Hampton.. free breakfast everyday, nice suites,

full kitchen... shuttle to the stores (for the wine, soda and waters..)

Met a free roll call members for dinner too.

We also have used the valet parking right at terminal entrance. Pull up drop luggage, walk about 75 feet, get check receipt, walk right in terminal. When you return walk out terminal, turn right and your at the desk. Get car in about 3 minutes

Self park in their lot, take their shuttle right to the front door. Call when you get back, and the shuttle is there in 5 minutes. 1/2 the price of port parking.
