Cam you barter on the price of jewelry like you can in Mexico?

at the official stores, like Diamond's Intl, etc, you can try, but there is not much wiggle room. with local vendors for shell jewelry or souvenirs, etc then yes, but even there, the bartering is not like Mexico - souvenirs are already inexpensive here.
