New Itinerary 2019 Total Solar Eclipse June 26th to July 10th

I just found out about this chartered cruise for 2019. It sails to from Papeete to Gambier Islands, Pitcairn Islands, Rangiroa, Bora Bora, Taha'a, Huahine, Moorea for a total of 15 days. Viewing of the total solar eclipse takes place on day 7 at sea.

Now if was going to Easter island I would seriously look at it.

Crystal has a cruise Valparaiso to Papeete. If I could add on a PG cruise that would be great. However DH is still working so no vacay to do this!

Way way too expensive for me! Does look great though. STARTING at $9295 per person - wow!

I was on the Paul Gauguin for the 2010 eclipse and signed up for 2019 on the first day it was available back in March. The Paul Gauguin also sailed to the 2005, 2009 and 2012 eclipses.

It's a great ship and it takes the mission of evading clouds for the eclipse very seriously. With that track record it's not surprising that it sells quickly and you won't see any discount pricing.
