Uber at the port??

Hi all,

I know Uber can pick up at that airport but has anyone used it to pick up at the Carnival port?

We have a free ride I could use but I don't know if they can get into the port area or if we have to walk outside to meet them?

Once you get off the ship and get your luggage you are at a city street,,,,that is where our shuttle has pick us up on previous cruises.

Good to know. We are considering using Uber too. This may be a stupid question but does Uber charge per person or a flat rate?

Anyone can drive right to the port and pick you up.

Uber charges a flat rate. 1 to 5 can ride UberX for the lowest rate.

Over 5 must use Uber XL which will be higher because it is a larger vehicle.

Uber Black would be about $75 unless you pack light, I tend to go for Uber Black because of the extra vehicle size. A smaller vehicle (which could be a compact car) probably around $35 but keep in mind if there is surge demand it could go higher still.
