Hesitating on your 1st Cruise? Uh, Don't Read This....

I just came across this 2013 article that has a few scare tactics to dissuade one (or esp. those on the fence about cruising) from climbing on board. Obviously sensationalistic and anomalies all, but if my ex had seen this before we embarked - ha - it never would have happened.

Yeah, I'd sure want to read a scare piece from a four year old website. You can tell that's a really solid place to read things when one of the other subjects is about praying mantises killing hummingbirds and eating their brains. Sheesh....

Well, it was just meant for entertainment, but you can be serious about it too if you want (I guess). Hope by Friday you can allow yourself to smile a little!

We sail on our honeymoon on Saturday and to be honest nothing will stop us enjoying our cruise, it cost twice as much as our wedding and will be full of memories for years to come so reading that article gave me a bit of food for thought as these things have happened and there is the potential of it happening again. I took your post in the way you intended it as a bit of fun and being thankful that the majority of cruises are the luxury holiday that people want and expect......to be honest pirates would have a fight on their hands after we made final payment because that felt like giving birth!:o

It is kind of ridiculous to imply cruises in general are anything like the incidents that happened in the past.

I suppose the murder on the Emerald Princess can now be included.
