Got a Driver for the Day Booked - What's not to miss?

We were in St. Maarten 11 years ago and I'm sure so much has changed!

 

We are going to be in St. Maarten during the week of Thanksgiving and have hired a driver for the day.

 

We know we for sure want to go to Maho beach to see the planes come in, go over to the French side because we didn't make it to the French side last time and maybe hit a good beach (kid friendly - hopefully no nudity) but other than that we don't really know what we want to do.

 

Tell me some of the not to miss things to do and see! We will have all day so hopefully we won't be rushed for time.
