Default How much are drinks on NOS?

How much are drinks on the NOS?

Trying to figure out if the new drink plan is for us.

Also is the drink plan for six days? It should be six as you get kicked off the boat at 9:30 on the 7th day.

Thanks.

Everything is based on "nights sailed". If it's a seven night cruise, you get charged for 7 x whatever, soda card, liquor package, gratuities, everything.

From $4 for beer to $10.50 for some Martinis, IIRC. A Patron Margarita was $9.25 + 15%.

It seemed to be the same pricing as Allure if you can find one of the menus from the plentiful review pics.

Also, if one person in the room buys it, the other person must also purchase the package. IMHO if you found the package saved you money you would probably get off the ship and head directly to rehab. Remember RCL is making the package available to make money not lose it.

Soda packages are per person...not everyone needs to buy one! If your son is still considered a "child"...then it's $4+ per day or so....Adult prices are $7+ per day. You can buy soda "by the can" if you don't buy a package for fountain soda....so you can get your Coke fix, without the package!

It's only the alcoholic packages (for mixed drinks and beer) that must be purchased by all drinking-aged adults in the party. Wine packages are exempt, since you are simply buying a number of bottles.....they can be "shared" however you want.

They have drink packages?? How does that work?? Princess charged you for every drink....Can someone explain?? I am not a big drinker....but it would be nice after a day on the island to come back and have a few---without worrying how much each drink is!!

Question Drinks prices varying by itinerary?

Was recently on the Navigator for its transatlantic crossing (3rd Nov - 17th Nov) and found the prices to be a little higher than the ones shown in posted picture menu from the Explorer. Don't know if prices have gone up or if they vary them for different itineraries??

Been checking through a few of my receipts and these are a few examples of what we paid (before 15% grat):

Domestic Beer 12oz $4.95
Bud Light/Bud Aluminium 16oz $6.00
Drink of the Day $6.75 (keep the glass)
Long Island Ice Tea $9.00
Jack Daniels/Jim Beam $6.50
Soda Can $2.50/2.75 (this is from memory)

Hope this helps..

No problem

Sadly I can't give any first hand experience with the alcohol beverage packages as they weren't yet being offered on the Navigator for our Nov cruise.

However if they are now offering it on this ship I believe there is usually a choice of 2 packages you can purchase. There are a few restrictions with each, and yes the price is per person, per day.

I pulled this info on the new packages off the RCI web site:

Quote:
Beer Package*
In this package you can enjoy all beer brands on board, by draft, can or bottle up to a value of $7, house wines by the glass, soda fountain items and non-alcoholic frozen cocktails. Price is $45 per guest, per day.

Premium Package*
In this package you can enjoy all of the benefits of the beer package as well as our house and premium spirits; brand names include Absolut, Bombay Sapphire and Johnny Walker Black Label and all alcoholic frozen cocktails using the spirits available. Price is $55 per guest, per day.
As I say though, not sure if these are being offered on the Navigator yet, but guessing by what the OP is saying that they now are. Must have missed out, however don't know if I would be able to drink enough to make it worth while, might not remember much about the cruise if I did!!!

Happy Cruising!!!
