FireEater Posted April 22, 2015 #1 Share Posted April 22, 2015 If 2 adults are in a cabin, do both have to purchase the beverage package? I see old posts, nothing within 6 months or so.

Rare cruisestitch Posted April 22, 2015 #3 Share Posted April 22, 2015 There have been some reports that if you book these ahead of the cruise date, you both have to purchase the package but if you wait until you are on board, one can purchase a package without forcing the second (or third) person in the stateroom into also purchasing a package. So, if a travel agent is telling you that both must purchase ahead of time, that might be right. You could just wait until you board and there won't be any problem. purpletequila Posted April 25, 2015 #6 Share Posted April 25, 2015 Thanks for the info. My understanding is, if taken as a perk when booking, then yes, both have to take the beverage package. But if buying separately, then no.
Rare ghstudio Posted April 25, 2015 #7 Share Posted April 25, 2015 (edited) My understanding is, if taken as a perk when booking, then yes, both have to take the beverage package. But if buying separately, then no. yes...if it's a perk, for example: under 1-2-3, the cabin gets to pick one (or more) of the options....however, once booked, one or both can choose to upgrade to the premium drink package independently.
