Can anyone give me an estimate of what it might cost to take a taxi from the cruise port to the Sagrada Familia?

Thanks!

Hi,

It will cost somewhere between €8 and €12 depending on traffic.

That sounds low, we paid about that much from Las Ramblas for our party of 3. That was a few years ago, maybe prices have gone down with the economic situation there. From port the distance is further and possible including the port surcharge?

Sorry..Way too low..We paid approx 30 Euro from port to our Las Ramblas hotel (Hotel 1898) for the two of us this past August.

Hi for your information. There is a metro stop right outside Sagrada Familia.

Your ship will most likely have a shuttle bus laid on to get out of the port, this will take you to near the Christopher Columbus monument. This is right at the bottom of Las Ramblas from where you will easily find "Drassanes" metro station. Get on the green line at Drassanes, change to the blue line at "Diagonal" and then get off at "Sagrada Familia". Dead easy, much cheaper and more fun than a taxi!

Hints - on the metro make sure you are on the right platform and heading in the right direction! Look confident in that you know where you are going (even if you don't) and hold onto your purse!

We took a cab and shared it with another cc couple - if I recall correctly it was around 25 - 28 eruos. (depends upon traffic and we went at a good time). We had pre booked tickets so gained entry easily.

We had been before and could not believe the progress that has been made. Well worth a visit. You may well find another couple willing to share a taxi on your roll call. Lots of taxis at Sagrada Familia and we got one to take us back to the Las Ramblas and walked around.

Divided by 4 it was quite reasonable and much quicker and easier.:)

Thats the way we went to see it. You get off right across the street from the church.
