Any key lime pie with meringue?

It's been a while since we've been to Key West. Last time we were there we had great key lime pie with meringue topping instead of whipped cream at the Blond Giraffe. They have since moved out of Key West. Does anyone know of any place else that uses meringue instead of whipped cream? I guess if worst case scenario we can scrape the whipped cream off.

I make my own here in NYC with Key Lime juice from Florida--you can buy everything here--and never put anything on top of it. That and a couple of live Maine lobsters ($7.99 a pound at Seabreeze Fish--40th & 9th Avenue) and we're all set. They also sell cooked lobsters for $10 each, which are great for making lobster rolls (top-split buns are sold nearby at Food Emporium--10th & 43rd).
