Has anyone been here and does it have any good beach snorkeling? We are taking a Tubing excursion that includes a beach stop at Mahogany Beach. Is there a good place to get a Red Stripe and some Jerk Chicken?

This is just my personal opinion

Sorry, but the last time we went to Mahogany (3 years ago) it was a disaster.

It was just a commercial stop off

Beach full

No shade or sun beds free

Sea full

Too Loud music

Expensive beers

Watered down liquor/punches

Litter everywhere

Toilets stunk (felt sick)

Pestered to have photograph taken, then pestered to buy at extortionate prices

Tacky, tacky, tacky.

Glad to get back on the boat that brought us

We stopped at Mahogany last year on a Carnival cruise (and we "personally" didn't stay here, but my oldest daughter and her bf did). They said there was snorkeling over by the pier you can go down to the far left (if standing at the beach looking out into the ocean). She said they seen a lot of fish and an eel and it's the area that everyone goes over and jumps off into the water.
