Key West Trolly - hop on hop off

Hello has anyone done this? I read that it was at your leisure but why then are there time slots and is it worth the money?

I wondered the same thing. Ended up booking directly with the tram Company when we got to Key West and it was at your Leisure, and cheaper than booking with carnival

We didn't do this through the cruiseship we did it on our own and we enjoyed it very much. We rode the entire route and then stayed on and only got off on the ones we really wanted to see.

We prefer the City View trolly over the other one....seats are much more confortable than the wooden benches they other one has.

You can book online for a little discount or just wait and buy the tickets when you arrive.

Doing it on your own is worth the money. Duval street is Dali-esque--it seems to get longer and longer the hotter it is!

Have done it twice - very interesting and fun way to get around.

I think the departure times are there because they need if for their program.

I wouldn't even bother doing it through the ship - just walk to the booth and buy a ticket - very short distance from where the ship docks.

Thanks everyone! After reading through the posts we have decided to not book with the ship and just go to the station or booth on our own. Hey, a penny saved is a penny earned. Happy cruising!!!

Groupon had a deal for $18.00 per person with City View Trolley Hop on Hop off. I bought it last week, so not sure if it is still available but it saved us $$$.

We've done it and it was fun. We our tickets in Key West. Much cheaper. You can get off at any stop and walk around and shop. To get picked up you to fun a trolley sign and stand there and it will pick you back up. I want to go back to Key West. And I would do the trolley again.
