distance from pier to LAX?

Does anyone know the rate of a taxi from the pier in San Pedro to LAX? I am trying to decide on a taxi vs transfer. Thanks!!

We had three adults + baggage for a 15 day cruise and used a shuttle service.

I don't know what the taxis charge, but Super Shuttle and Prime Time are both around 17 dollars per person and are very dependable.

And check their websites. We paid $12 last year using an "internet special".

I spoke with the shuttle co the other day and its $ 17 PP but they also charge $3.00 per piece of luggage.The distance is about 35 minutes depending on traffic. You can also take a private car for about $ 70.00 so if you have anyone to share the cost its also a nice way to go.

Yes Prime Time and Supershuttle are $17.

Taxi is approx $55.

Takes about 30-45 minutes on a good day.
