Private Tour Egypt-What hotels do they use in Cairo?

Considering a cruise that will stop in Egypt with Cairo as the place of interest. Just wondering what hotels the private tour operators use, and what your experiences with these hotels has been. Thanks for any help.

We stayed in Mena House Hotel looking over the pyramids with Ramses. The hotel was premium but well worth the expense.

The Mena House is an excellent choice near the Pyramids and the Sphinx.We stayed there. In the center of Cairo the 2 Four Seasons hotels were the best when we were there--we stayed at the Four Seasons First Residence. It was excellent.

Thank you for the information. I was hoping that Mena House was an option. Now I have to hope that cruises will actually be able to go to Egypt in the next couple of years.
