Let's get this internet billing policy changed!

Recommended Posts

If you get off ship at USA ports you can always find a place to get free wifi, or at other ports just watch where the crew is sitting with their devices.

Same in Europe there plenty of places ashore with free wifi, bars. McDonald's, etc.

We vote with our feet and with our wallet. We simply refuse to pay over the odds for what is a very substandard service.

The only time we use on board internet is when we get it for free because of our frequent cruiser status.

Fortunately we do not need it so logging in on land at a bar or coffee shop provides us with a much faster service for zero cost.

For me, I tell my family and very few friends where I am and on what ship and if they need to get ahold of me, they can. I don't care what happens after that to be honest (well mostly). I don't get to relax and cruise that often and when I do, it's my time. I like "my" time :D
