transportation from airport to santiago

Will be on the Golden Princess Feb14-28, 2015. Plan to spend three days before in Santiago. Does anyone know of reliable transport service from the airport to the city and then from Santiago to the port?

We are doing the same cruise but in January. I was planning on taking a taxi from the Santiago airport to our hotel in Santiago where we will spend two nights. My understanding is that the taxi fare is a set fee from the airport to the hotel.

Then to get from Santiago to Valparaiso on the day before the cruise, we are taking a tour through South Excursions. They will pick us up at the hotel in Santiago, take us on a 7-8 hour tour and then drop us off at our hotel in Valparaiso where we will spend the night before boarding the ship the next day.

The cost of the tour through South Excursions varies according to how many people are traveling. Try going to the roll calls for your sailing to see if anyone would like to share the tour with you. We have 6 people all sharing the tour which was arranged through the roll calls.

The people on the tour can be picked up and dropped off at different hotels, not everyone sharing the tour has to be staying at the same place.
