Hi,

The 'Obstructed Balcony' cabins on QV and QE.....CA Grade I think they're soon going to be....are on Deck 5.

Lifeboats and Tenders etc are level with Deck 4, so from your balcony you're looking down on top of the boats and any mechanism. The view straight outwards ISN'T obstructed, but it's not possible to look directly down.

We've had these cabins on both QE/QV and have been perfectly happy with them, and would certainly book one again. Well, we have done!

Be mindful though that an 'Obstructed OCEANVIEW' will be on Deck 4 and will most likely have a dirty great orange lifeboat plonked directly outside your window....

Regards,

Mr H.

We had an obstructed view on QV in November, but were lucky that we had the stateroom situated between the tenders, though still with slight obstructed view, had the best of them. I would certainly have the same stateroom without hesitation.

And on the bright side, in tender ports you get an automatic upgrade for a day!!!!
