David the Pacific Dawn is staying overnight at FI terminal and this is a post from facebook

P&O Cruises Australia

Hi Everyone, we can now confirm that the weather heading towards Brisbane is not expected to impact on the arrival of the previous cruise or the departure of W305. As we advised earlier, due to the forecast strong winds, Pacific Dawn will still not be able to travel down the Brisbane River to Portside and departure will now take place from the Multi-User Terminal at Fishermans Island. Check-In will still take place at Portside Terminal from 11am and will be staggered based on deck and cabin number to minimise congestion

They docked at Fisherman Islands today with the Seven Seas Voyager and left before 5 pm. Looked a little rough.

She didn't stay overnight, she was in at 4.55am and departed at 16.10. Given the normal transit time down the Brisbane River from Portside, she actually only left Fisherman Island about 1hr later than she would have passed it if she'd sailed from Portside. So that's a pretty good turnaround, considering they were transferring people from Portside to Fishermain Island for embarkation.

Top marks to P&O Australia.
Sounds like a job well done.

The Seven Seas Voyager stayed overnight, sailed this morning on a cruise up to Cairns along the Queensland Coast, might be a rough ride

I was on that trip.

P&O did a very good job considering the on and off rain plus the limited resources at the grain terminal.

I actually enjoy the experience of boarding at commercial multi use sites, I guess that's just me.

Yes, a mildly choppy first two days out and with the demographic of a 7 day Jan sailing out of Brissy it was fairly devastating on the first timers

cracking few days on the "back nine" coming home though
