We are going on the Ecstasy Sat and I was wondering if the casino and the arcade take coins/ actual money. I know you can use you sail sign n card of course but I have this huge bag of quarters and figured I would just bring it with me ha. I have been on a Carnival cruise before and I seem to remember that you could but now I am not sure. Thanks so much!:D

On the Glory we were able to use quarters in the slots and cash out in quarters. However on the Dream we were able to use quarters but you could not cash out any money right from the machine. Not really a casino person so someone else can tell you how it works if you win. BUT I would rethink taking a bag of quarters. I took a couple of rolls in my carry on 1 time, before the lastest security problems, and was pulled aside by the TSA and hand checked. With the weight limit in checked baggage I don't think I would do that either. Cash in your quarters and take the bills instead. The arcade does take cash.

They don't charge 2% to use your sail & sign for slots.

From what I understand the arcade takes tokens...you can use your sail & sign card or cash to get the tokens.

I think the charge for using your Sail & Sign in the casino (and I thought it was 3%) is if you go up and get cash from the cashier in the casino and put that on your S&S.

I agree with the posters who said cash out your quarters into bills and take that instead. Those quarters are heavy, and not every slot machine will take coins anyway.

Can you still use cash and coins in the casino on the Conquest?

You can use cash/coins in any casino on any carnival cruise ship. You will cash any winnings to your sign and sail card and cash the card out at the casino.

If you take money out on a slot machine there is no 3% charge. An attendant will show you how to do it. It's one of those things that is harder to explain than do.

Take your quarters for that quarter game. If the ship is rocking the payout will be bigger.

there is directions right under where you put your sign and sail card..

(now how many people leave their card in the machine?? Cant tell you how many I found) but no one can access your information without the 4 digit pincode

You can use cash at all the table games in the casino.. Don't know about the machines - -I don't play them.

As for the Arcade, I believe there are still a couple of ships where coin can be used....but don't write that in stone......others may have good info about that.

My favorite casino game is Caribbean stud poker. I use cash to play but for some reason I never get any cash back! Am I doing something wrong? lol

That's my favorite game, too!....and the only one I play...and I only play it on a cruise.

If you ever figure out that "cash back" thingie, let me know.....HA!!:D
