Passports

One tip I found off here on another part of the forum is to scan your details page on to your PC and email it to yourself as an attachment.

Then if anything serious did happen to passports and you needed the info you could get them off your email account to help smooth out things with replacements.

The only place we ever took them ashore was Egypt as they wanted to see the visa stamped in the back as we went off.

I'm planning on taking serveral photocopies of passport with me just in case.

Hi Sue, I've got the same in my wallet from last cruise. I know legally they are useless but handy for some form of ID if you're leaving passport on ship

You will probably never need it to get on and off the ship but if for some reason you are in a foreign contry and miss the ship you will need it to get out of the country.

You beat me to it! Agreed, always take it, just in case.....some places insist on it, Russia for instance!
