Heathrow hotel for single woman?

I will be a single woman arriving at 9pm (after getting luggage, immigration probablly after 10pm) at Terminal 3.

I will need a room for the night before going to Dover the next day.

Any suggestions?

Take the Heathrow Express or Connect into Paddington, then stay at the Hilton at the station, or the Mercure right beside. If you go the HEX route, it will probably be as quick or quicker than going to an LHR hotel, and you'll be able to taxi to Charing Cross/Victoria/St. Pancras for the train to Dover the next day.
