Amber Cove - how crowded does the pool get?

I was wondering how crowded the pool area gets at Amber Cove? We aren't planning any excursions for this port, the plan was to just hang out by the pool. We arrive in port at 7:00 a.m. which for my family that likes to sleep is a bit early to head to the pool. If we wait and head out at 9:00-9:30 will it be so packed that we won't be able to find chairs to lounge out on?

If you are the only ship in port, you should have no problem . May not be " poolside " but you will find a chair. :)

Thank you!! As long as I have a place to sit I don't really care if I'm pool side.

Is there a way to find out if we will be the only ship in port?

Just for fun, this is one of me favorite pool videos.. with nice background music.

How crowded can a pool get?

We were at Amber Cove on the Regal Princess and I would say that the pool had plenty of chairs and it was not difficult to get one by the pool. We all enjoyed our time spent there, the pool is very nice!!

We were there last winter, and if I remember, walked off the ship around 10ish, and had no problem finding a chair. Finding shade is the problem, unless you pay for an umbrella, and I believe they were fairly expensive (to me anyway).
