Is there any restrictions for people that are taking a break from chemo?

Ask your doctor. It depends on how long the break is, how your energy level is, whether you are neutropenic or not, etc.

The cruise line doesn't have restrictions, but you need to check with the persons doctor. I took my cousin on a cruise to Europe during her break in chemo, with no problems.

There may be issues with travel insurance when you have hospital appointments pending. Give yourself plenty of time to sort it out.

Thanks everyone for the input. We will check the insurance and doctors for sure.
