Question about Grand Cayman observation tower

How hard is it to get to the Grand Cayman observation tower if it is not part of your excursion? Anyone who has been there, do a lot of people try to go there?

It's essentially the top (3rd? 4th?) floor of a building/parking garage at Camana Bay. It's on the next road back from Seven Mile Beach, approximately a 15 min walk from Royal Palms. Easy to see on google maps. Good views, but I don't know if I'd make a special trip there just for that.

A bit hard to get to on foot right now as they're doing some construction to build a new footpath and overpass that will eventually connect Camana Bay to Seven Mile Beach. If you're cruising soon, I'd take a taxi there if you're desperate to go. If you're not cruising until after another six months to a year, it'll be an easy walk.

Oh, and it's stairs to get up there. I don't think there's an elevator, although I've never really looked that hard for one.

I googled the observation tower to refresh my memory on whether or not it has elevators and it does. I thought I remembered elevators since my husband has limited mobility. Beautiful view from tower.
