7/8/12 - freedom....price drops anybody??

Hi All,

I keep checking for a price drop, but have yet to get one. I am now wondering if I already got the best rate possible and unless something major happens, they probably will not be going any lower. We have interior cabins on the Rivera. My rate is $564 person for the cabin of 4 and $639 for the cabins of 2. I have 4 cabins booked, so every penny will add up.

Anybody got a better rate? Is there hope for me on the bottom deck or do only higher decks get the price drops?

I have to tell you that while it seems every other Carnival Cruise has gone down in price, ours on the Freedom (07-14-2012) has done nothing but increase. Now it is about 300pp more than we booked. So much for OBC:rolleyes:

Summer cruises usually do not drop that much if at all, families like to go in the summer............

We are going in June on the Freedom and it has gone up about 250, slowly.

I'm on the same cruise and I havn't gotten anything yet either.

Check on a website called cruise critic DOT net. I signed up a few weeks ago to monitor our 4-night Imagination cruise in July and it notified me of a price drop recently. I saved $70 a person ($280 total). Best $5 I ever spent!
