Taxi to Atlantis

How much does it cost to get to the Atlantis? We booked the Comfort Suites which is adjacent to Atlantis. Thanks.

If you get your own taxi it should be $8 for 2 ppl plus $1 toll. $3 each additional person. If you are loading into a van - it's $4 pp.

We found the water taxi to be better. they cram you in the vans - and ours didn't have any air conditioning. Not a nice ride! The water taxi was fun - and it was $3 pp.

Take the water taxi! It's $3 a person and it's much better than the taxi.

I concur with the water taxi. It's a nice ride and when we took it there were tour guides on board who gave an entertaining little history of the Bahamas as well as pointing out some of the sights. You have to walk from the dock to Atlantis but it is not that far unless you are bringing a lot of luggage :)

Is Atlantis ( The Dig ) wheelchair friendly ?

I seem to remember a lot of steps.

The water taxi is nice, but waits for a full load. Land taxi was faster. The Dig is wheel chair friendly, plus there is a small service elevator. It is kind of hidden. It is by the restrooms between the casino and large circular shopping area.

It is about a 10 minute walk to Atlantis from the ferry dock.
