Anytime Dinning

Hi

We will be cruising on the Sapphire Princess in Aug – we are booked for anytime dinning – does that mean we can show up at anytime – I have read somewhere you need to make reservations – is that correct – I thought anytime actually meant anytime.

Thanks

Smitty

You should not have to wait unless you go at the most popular times, 7pm-7:30p. Even then, you might not have to wait. Sapphire has four dining rooms for anytime dining, although one is reserved for an extra fixed seating venue at 5:30p. When that seating is finished, it is open for anytime. EM

With Anytime Dining, you can show up when you want to eat. Like restaurants everywhere, sometimes more people show up at a time than can be accommodated. If this happens, Princess will give you a beeper, so you can go off and be called when a table is available.

On some ships, you can make reservations if you wish.

Family and I love the Anytime Dining format for its flexibility. Sometimes early seating causes a rush to get back from port or the pool and sometimes late seating is just too late. Timing is everything though. If everyone else with ATD show up about the same time as you, like at a good restaurant back home, pagers will be issued to notify you when a table is ready. Some prefer to make a reservation but with DW and a young diva-in-training to get ready, we just show for dinner when we are ready. The longest wait we have experienced was about 15 mins. No big deal; time enough to grab a cocktail before going to table.
