You could fit one large suitcase in under the clothes hanging area. The small door near the door of the cabin is all shelves. There is lifejackets in the bottom of the wardrobe also at the end closest to the desk area. The ladder is for the Pullman bed that is over the main bed. Sorry I was only taking general pics of the room. Hope this gives you a bit of an idea.
