Question for Bonnie: Re: Lesvos

In a short while, well calendar short but not in terms of our anticipation, we'll be on a cruise that is scheduled to dock at Lesvos.

In one of Larry P.'s tweets (perhaps it was a link), there was a concern about the presence of a significant number of refugees and their impact upon that island.

On a recent review, a poster mentioned that, because of these concerns, Lemnos was substituted for Lesvos.

To help us plan our shore excursions, can you ascertain if there is any general policy concerning this port? Or is it decided on the basis of each cruise and its timeline?

The itinerary that shows on our website is the correct one. There have been no changes. We reserve the right to change as needed, and of course we continue to monitor the destinations we visit for safety and security. If we feel a change is needed, booked guests and their travel agents will be advised immediately.
