Dining on Gem

Is the Magenta or Grand Pacific dining room better on the Gem? Or are they basically the same?

We found them the same for food quality but one you could wear shorts and one you couldn't. The one hear maltings is darker inside than the larger one.

food is the same in both.

grand pacific is at the aft of the ship so it is larger and prettier in that you have wall of windows facing aft.

This is a pretty good comparison. The Grand Pacific felt like a dinning room whereas the Magenta felt like a room where they were serving food. We definitely preferred the GP.

Food the same but GP is a nicer venue.

Food and menus are the same. Tables are closer together in Magenta. GP has more ambiance.

After a few cruises on the Gem I always prefer the Grand Pacific. Magenta finds like a dining hall.

Plus the GP has a ladies bathroom which is nice

We only ate at GP with our family of 7, never had to wait for a table.
