Question re beach at cruise pier

I was thinking of spending some time on the beach beside the cruise pier when we visit. Can anyone let me know - are there deck chairs available and is there somewhere a little more shady to sit?

Yes, there were deck chairs to rent, and the umbrella that came with them was the shadiest (in a good way!) we've ever had. It was more like a small tent with mesh windows you could roll up and down.

The food at the beach bar was really good, too.

There is not much shade on the beach but back off the beach there are some tables and trees. Here are a few videos I took of the beach so you can see it. One is the beach and the other is the other side of the pier.
