Which balcony cabin on the Aranui 3?

Recommended Posts

We're planning to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary with a trip to the Marquesas on the Aranui 3 in 2014.

We are planning to get a balcony cabin.

For those who have been before, if we have a choice, which balcony cabin would you recommend and why?

Thanks in advance for any replies!

When I was on the Aranui a few years ago, I had Suite G on the Sun Deck.

It was nice and high for good views, a great balcony on the side with 2 chairs and 2 chaises and the cabin had plenty or room for me.

I would have liked to have had Suite E right above it on the Star Deck but it was already taken.

My suite had plenty of windows for lots of light and one of the windows had a great view out the front across the bow of the ship and you could see all of the cargo operations through that window.

For the extra small amount of money, a Suite is the way to go.

You are going to love your trip.

Just my $0.02.

Jim

We had suite E and enjoyed it. However for people sensative to montion sickness, remember the higher up you are the more motion there is. All of the balcony suites are up high. The cabin was beautiful, and a good place to watch arrivals and departures, the area behind the bridge wings just above our balcony had a lot of people when entering and leaving port, but we had a great view on our private balcony.
