So we are thinking of booking 2 connecting balconies on the Carnival Breeze.

They are towards the very front of the ship on the right hand side, deck 7...one cabin back from the corner.

I'm concerned about the wind and boat motion, should I be? We've only ever had inside cabins on lower levels.

Since I'm sure you didn't spend your previous cruises IN your cabin 24/7, you know that if the ship is moving, you can feel it everywhere! Did the motion when you were on upper decks or in the dining room, etc...bother you? If not, then your cabin location should be fine!

I think I am just more concerned with wind and movement if we're out on the balcony, since its right towards the front of the ship?

I'd hate to pay for a balcony for the 1st time and not be able to enjoy it !

Go for it.

We cruised the first time in Jan on Carnival Elation with a balcony on the 11th deck, (Verandah) the highest possible. It was 5 from the front. We had no problems with wind/rain except on the last at sea day when a storm moved through with high winds.

There was movement but it just kinda felt like we were drunk. :)

are they the only two balcony cabins available?

why take something you are unsure of.

I do know it will be a LONG walk to the food and pools every day
