Jeff-Thanks for the information. Let's hope they do something with the dreadfully slow connection speeds. Additional Wi-Fi is great but if it still takes 3-5 minutes to bring up a site, why bother?

Thanks. I'd never consider it for web surfing - only for e-mail on your own machine giving the opportunity to use your filters and anti-spam measures.

I've been very tempted by the satellite modems on offer. With the monthly packages, whilst still expensive - they're affordable if business related. Suprised I've not seen them n use on a ship yet.
