Default Smoking?

Where is smoking allowed on Royal Caribbean Freedom of the Seas? In any open air area or just in specific areas? (I am a non-smoker and am hoping its a segregated area and not any open area, such as the open pool deck area....). Is the casino smoking? Restaurants? Bars?

There is smoking in the casino. Boleros Lounge has smoking in its bar and you can smell that as you pass by, so pass by on the otehr side of the stairs and it won't be so bad. During the day, hardly anyone is there anyway.

Parts of the Schooner lounge have smoking. One side of the top deck where all the lounge chairs are allows smoking. I can't remember if the Prominade pub allows smoking. It used to, but that has stopped on some ships, but I can't remember if Freedom is one of those ships. Parts of the Olive and Twist Lounge allow smoking.

Smoking is allowed on balconies, but there is no smoing in the rooms.

Once you learn where the smokers are most likely to be on the ship, it is quite possible to avoid them.

Smoking areas are so few, it's easy to avoid them. Casino smoking is a given on the majority of any cruiseline, it's their bread and butter.

The smoking area for the Schooner bar is those seats directly by the exit from the casino, the interior part of the Schooner bar isn't bad at all in regards to smoke.

The pub on the promenade is non-smoking on Freedom (smoking is allowed in Liberty's pub, which totally sucks).
