When cruising from NO in Jan or Feb is the first day cold/cool weather to where it is a lost day in the sun at the pool? Or are you closer to Mexico or 70's weather

When we embarked in NOL at the beginning of January this year, it was in the lower/mid 50's and breezy. The whole next day (at sea) was cloudy and cool also. There were only a few people in the hot tubs that day. When we arrived in Cozumel, day 3, it was sunny and warm. Our last day at sea was also sunny and warm on the return.
That said, it is not impossible for it to be warm in Jan/Feb. One year our kids were playing in the backyard pool in Feb. as it was in the 80's. |
