Disembarking by tender - Britannia

Can anyone who has sailed on the new Britannia tell me how long we can expect to take to disembark by tender at ports. We are doing our own excursions and expect those with ship's excursions to disembark first, but need to get an idea of how long we might allow. We are usually at the back of the queue! Thanks for any help

We were on the maiden cruise and tendered in Monaco, it was very well organised and took about 15 minutes between arriving in the theatre to pick up our tender tickets and getting on to a tender even though we were going ashore early when it was busy.

Not sure Britannia has tendered at any ports yet. We didnt have any on the 2nd maiden cruise.

Britannia certainly has used her tenders at a port.

On the maiden voyage we tendered at Monte Carlo...

As previously stated we disembarked Britannia at Monte Carlo by tender...

The whole operation for disembarking by tender was very slick and well organised. There were announcements the previous evening and an easy to follow instructional guide in the 'Horizon' daily paper.

Tender tickets were issued at a given time in the theatre. Once given your ticket you were invited to sit by row for your ticket number to be called

When the tender was ready that numbered row was called and we were escorted to the tender embarkation point.

Passengers on excursions were required to meet at a different venue.

Having collected a ticket early we were on the first tender. There was a mix of DIY and excursion passengers on the first tender away. Britannia was operating two tender points so the operation was pretty speedy.

Hope that helps.

Richard.
